This is a benefit-album. Obernair is a very small and very cozy non-profit-festival somewhere in the northern middle of germany. If you got the possibility you should visit this one. Nice and friendly people all over the place. So pay as much as you want but as much as you can to keep this festival alive. It's really worth it for.
We recorded this album with two Zoom-H2O-fieldrecorders only, one placed between the crowd and the band and one behind the mighty Horsed. Yes, the sound is rough as rough can be and I'm also not quite sure if you can call this good music but the energy at this place in the tent of the Obernair-Festival was just amazing! No cheating! Just listen at the noise of the audience after the last song and you'll know why we chosed to release this recording.
The title "Kinder mir läuft die Suppe" was inspired by a speech of the singer of the second band who played on saturday....performing in front of a lot of kids and parents. That's the way creating titles!
Hope to see you all again next year...up the Oberns!
